Worship is a right response to a real revelation of God, and the Bible teaches that our whole lives are worship. At Resurrection Church, we long to worship the Lord with passion, intensity, and sincerity from hearts wholly given over to Him.
Our praise and worship celebration may be a bit different from what you’re used to. We like to say it is a unique marriage of the ancient and the contemporary, the spontaneous and the structured. Our Lutheran roots connect us to many rich and meaningful Christian traditions, while our openness to the Holy Spirit allows us to encounter God in relevant and transformational ways. This powerful blend allows us to be historically connected, Biblically grounded, and Holy Spirit-led. We meet together to worship the Lord each Sunday at 10:00am in the Center for New Life.
Dress for our services is casual. You will see people in everything from suits and ties to jeans and flip-flops. We want you to be comfortable as you participate in worship.
Parking is available in the parking lot off of our Commonwealth Avenue entrance. Turn into the drive at our sign and follow it to the large lot. Once you park, follow the signs or ask our friendly people for directions to our main worship center.
Coffee and refreshments are available each Sunday in the foyer before the 10:00am worship service. This is a great opportunity to get to know people in a relaxed setting and to fuel up before worship.
Nursery is provided for children from infants to age five and is located on the first floor just down the hall from our main worship center.
Children’s Church happens each week during the 10:00am service. Children from kindergarten through grade 6 are dismissed from the main service after a time of praise and worship. From there they go upstairs to Resurrection Treasure Island, a church experience designed especially for them. We ask that a parent or guardian briefly accompany children visiting for the first time in order to fill out some simple paperwork which enables us to better serve our young treasure hunters. Children rejoin their families in the main service before we share together in Holy Communion.
Hearing impaired/deaf services are available during the 10:00am worship service. We offer in-ear hearing assistance devices as well as on-ear headphones. In addition we offer sign language interpretation for the deaf. If you need any of these services, an usher will gladly assist you.
