We’ve seen many changes since our establishment in 1948 as a mission congregation of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod.
Our passion is to close the gap between the life we live and the life we’re called to. We believe God has called us to go into uncharted territories and bring to them the kingdom of God.

Revelation Study, week five
Fall Festival
Resurrection Church will host a Fall Festival Friday, October 31, from 6-8pm. We'll have inflatables, food, games and more! Please start now inviting your friends and family with children and begin praying for this fun, family-friendly outreach event!
Don’t Miss This!
TGI WEDNESDAYS run from 5:30-7:30pm each Wednesday night. We begin with a simple fellowship meal at 5:30pm, followed by a study through the book of Revelation beginning at 6pm and a time for small group discussions. Please click here to sign up each week for the meal.
Neighborhood Outreach
Next Saturday, October 25, from 8-9:30am, we will gather to clean up the neighborhood around our church. We've invited the area neighborhood associations to join us, so it's not only a great chance to bless our community, but also a great chance to interact with others from our neighborhood.
Kitchen Renovation
We have begun a fund raising campaign to renovate our kitchen, and the first $10,000 donated will be matched dollar for dollar! If you'd like to contribute toward this effort, simply click here.
Pastor Appreciation Month
October is Pastor appreciation month! Please take some time this month to thank and bless our pastors. A simple card of gratitude means a lot!
We Need Your Help
In order to host our Fall Festival, we need several things: (1) cakes for our famous cake walk (seriously everyone's favorite!), (2) volunteers, and (3) lots of CANDY. Please contact the church office if you're available to help Friday night from 6-8pm or if you can make a cake or cupcakes. We also need lots of bags of individually wrapped candy - you can drop them off in marked baskets in the Foyer.
Project 658 Donations Needed
Please take a moment and read this update from Bella Miller. The children's program at 658 (a ministry we support) is in need of some items.
New Coffee Hour
On Sundays, we will host a coffee hour from 9-9:50am, in the Foyer. We'll offer a variety of hot and cold coffees, and there will also be pastries available. It's a great opportunity to come early, grab some coffee, and build community before the 10am service!
Prayer in the Chapel
The Chapel is now available to members to come and pray 24 hours a day/7 days a week. If you would like to schedule to use the Chapel for this purpose, simply contact your elder or the church office to get an entry code and instructions.
New Prayer Chain
Our Prayer Chain is now up and running at a new email address. From now on, please email your prayer requests to pray@reschurchclt.org. Thank you for your patience and for your faithfulness in prayer.
Prayer Opportunities
Throughout the week, we offer several different opportunities for you to join together in prayer. All prayer services are held in the Chapel.
Sundays, we pray for the service, Tuesdays, we pray for the Charlotte Crusade, Wednesdays, we pray for our pastors, church, and our nation, and on Thursdays, we pray for the lost and prodigals. Please join us!
Clothing Bin
We have purchased a clothing bin that is in the Foyer. Please put gently used clothing items in it, and we will take your donations to the Crisis Assistance Ministries Free Store to help serve the needs of the homeless in our community.
