WELCOME TO RESURRECTION CHURCH CHARLOTTE

We believe the things we teach, and we strive to embody them in our daily lives. We want to look like Jesus, so our passion is to close the gap between the life we live and the life we’re called to.

Ways to Connect

Ministries

From childrens ministry, to small groups & bible studies, to worship & dance, we have a number of ways to plug into this community.

Come for a Visit

This is a place to encounter God and His love, and a safe place to bring your hurts and questions.  We believe God will meet you here.

Our Story

We’ve seen many changes since our establishment in 1948 as a mission congregation of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod.

Our passion is to close the gap between the life we live and the life we’re called to. We believe God has called us to go into uncharted territories and bring to them the kingdom of God.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Memory Work

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on His law he meditates day and night.

Psalm 1:1-2 NIV (1984)

Calling All Dads

Calling all dads!  Bring a corn-hole partner and come out for free food and some friendly competition this Father's Day season. This event is sponsored by Out of the Ashes and is designed to honor fathers of all kinds - those with children here, children in heaven, and children hoped for. It's sure to be a fun and encouraging time! Click here for more information and to RSVP!

June Gather

For our June Gather, we will meet at Brittany Facinoli's house on Saturday, June 14, from 9:30-11am. Please make plans now to join us for a time of food, fellowship and prayer.

Vacation Bible School

Register now to join us Wednesday, June 25 - Friday, June 27, for a YEE HAW of a time at this year's VBS!  Skits, bible stories, games, and more each night! Friday night is family fun night with food, inflatables and more. Click here to register.

Worship Dance Camp

Resurrection Dance Ministry will host a summer dance camp for young people, ages 4-12 years.  The camp runs Monday, August 4 - Thursday, August 7, from 9am - 12:pm each day; and the cost is $60 per student. Click here for more information and to register.

Clothing Bin

We have purchased a clothing bin that is in the Foyer. Please put gently used clothing items in it, and we will take your donations to the Crisis Assistance Ministries Free Store to help serve the needs of the homeless in our community.

Neighborhood Clean Up

In our ongoing effort to bless our community, we'll conduct another Neighborhood Clean Up Day next Saturday, June 7, from 8 - 9:30am.  We'll begin with a brief time of coffee, donuts, and fellowship and then fan out from there.

Blessing Bags

Blessing bags will be available in the Foyer this Sunday, June 1. Grab some on your way out - they're a great way to share God's love when you're driving and encounter someone in need.

Invitation Cards

We have made some cards for you to have handy when you're talking with people and want to invite them to church. Grab some this Sunday, keep them with you, and look for opportunities to give them out!

Last Call For Food

Our Commonwealth Food Pantry has served our neighbors faithfully; but over the last few years, other organizations have stepped in to meet that need. As a result, for the month of June we will partner with Project 658 to prepare bags of specific foods for the needy; and after that, we will close our food pantry and continue to focus on other ways to bless our neighbors. For this final push, we need tortillas, canned chicken, oatmeal, fruit snacks, individual bags of pretzels, goldfish, Cheez-its, popcorn, and cereal bars. We will collect these items through the end of June, then combine them with items we already have and give them all to Project 658.  If you have any questions, please contact Bobby Simon or the church office.

Prayer Opportunities

Throughout the week, we offer several different opportunities for you to join together in prayer. All prayer services are held in the Chapel.
Sundays, we pray for the service, Tuesdays, we pray for the Charlotte Crusade, Wednesdays, we pray for our pastors, church, and our nation, and on Thursdays, we pray for the lost and prodigals. Please join us!

Resurrection Church is a church on a mission and in a hurry – to become as much like Jesus as we can and lead as many people to Him as we can.
